Fellows are expected to attend monthly office hours and workshops led by Shareable. In the remaining time, fellows will begin to host team meetings, launch fundraisers and conceptualize their project with the support of local organizations. We encourage each fellow to work with a local organization to deepen that support.
Monthly training, meetings, mentor sessions, and program development time (fundraising, local partner dev, team building, space finding, etc.)
Commit - 4 hrs/month - Shareable- led workshops and office hours
Commit -12 hrs / month - holding internal organizing meetings, systems development, fundraising events, space & inventory acquisition, etc.
For the completion of the fellowship, the following deliverables are required. Each of these outcomes are created to set our fellows up for sustainability after the program.
Complete a community needs assessment
At minimum 5 grant proposals submitted (or completed) at the close of the program
Acquire a local nonprofit fiscal sponsorship (if applicable to preferred model)
Secure a hosting site
Grow a list of volunteers / organizing team
Fellows will receive $10k in seed funding to be used for project development
Sustainability Workbook (finalize a strategic operations plan )
Host an item drive (or series of item drives) to acquire first round of items for LoT
LoT Launch Plan (including community outreach)
